Description: Kids and parents want computer science in schools, yet districts struggle to find teachers willing to provide instruction. It’s also tough to find time in the school day for yet another subject area. Find out about free Code.org resources such as Computer Science Connections, which are interdisciplinary units that infuse computer science concepts into subjects such as ELA, science, social studies, and math. Teachers can be intimidated by the prospect of grading a student’s coding project. Our award-winning AI Teaching Assistant can help. Administrators may be struggling to develop an AI policy for your district, or trying to help stakeholders understand what AI even is. Our free TeachAI toolkit is a wealth of resources that we will start to explore together in this session.
Bring your devices and get ready to give Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science a try! You will come away with the confidence, tools, and curriculum you need to implement computer science and AI in your district.
