Music Lab

Learn to code as you remix your favorite artists' tracks and use AI to generate your own beats!

MusicLab engages students to foundational computer science concepts like sequencing, parallelism, AI, and functions, all while composing their own music and remixing top tracks from famous artists like Sabrina Carpenter, Shakira, and Benson Boone. During this Hour of Code, students will create their own song by:

  • Combining different musical stems
  • Leveraging AI to generate their own customized beats
  • Learning more about real-world career paths at the intersection of technology and music.
